I had a call from a client on Friday. She basically said “I have the paperwork ready for my home loan application, but I saw my dream home and auction has been set for Sunday” (we had met a week earlier to discuss her home loan approval).
During this time, banks were taking five days to respond to an application. She had been quite thorough with the required paperwork and I talked to my senior lender JD, “mate can we have a crack at this deadline?”. He smartly put the deal together pronto and placed it in the hands of a good banker, who kindly got us an approval in writing by 6pm that same day.

On Sunday she won the Auction.
