How you sell your home is directly linked to how much you could get for it. Pictures are more important than ever with many potential buyers scouring through a photo gallery, after a visit. My old friend and house of the year photographer Damien and his sister Cath were kind enough to share some tips.
Street appeal
The approach to the house is important, get
- Lawns Mowed, edges trimmed weeding done
- Gutters should be clean
- Rubbish bins tucked away out the back
- Car moved
The entrance has to welcoming
- Shoes out of sight
- Flowers can help
- De clutter
Kitchen
- Minimum appliances – toaster and kettle at the maximum
- Get rid of Dish racks, Teal towels, mixers, rice cookers etc
Rest
- Clean windows let in more light
- Blinds if not working should be removed
- Wires tucked away
